QManager BETA v0.1.5
Pre-release
Pre-release
π QManager BETA v0.1.5
Smarter update infrastructure β QManager now distributes releases via GitHub Releases instead of raw branch files.
β¨ What's New
π¦ GitHub Releases Distribution
QManager builds are now published as GitHub Release assets instead of being committed to the repository.
- π Dynamic installer β
qmanager-installer.shnow queries the GitHub Releases API to find the latest version automatically. No more hardcoded download URLs or SHA256 checksums in the script. - π SHA-256 verification β the installer downloads a checksum file alongside the tarball and verifies integrity before installing
- π Version pinning β install a specific version with
QMANAGER_VERSION=v0.1.4 sh qmanager-installer.sh - π OTA updates from Releases β the Software Update system and auto-updater now download from GitHub Releases instead of raw branch URLs
- βͺ Improved rollback β OTA rollback downloads the previous version's tarball directly from its GitHub Release, instead of relying on a
.tar.gz.oldfile that could be overwritten
π§ Under the Hood
- 𧩠Installer JSON parsing β uses
jsonfilter(stock OpenWRT),jq, or grep fallback for parsing GitHub API responses - π‘οΈ Backward-compatible SSRF allowlist β OTA updater accepts both GitHub Releases URLs and legacy raw branch URLs
- π§Ή Simplified build process β
build.shno longer patches installer SHA256 or rotates.oldarchives - π Leaner repository β build artifacts (
qmanager-build/,qmanager_install/) removed from git tracking (~12.9MB saved per release)
