Responsible Use

Multi-camera evidence fusion can affect privacy, civil liberties and consequential decisions.

Intended posture

IncidentGraph should be used only with lawfully acquired data, appropriate access controls, retention policies and human oversight.

Interpretation of graph output

A graph edge is an evidentiary hypothesis. It is not automatically:

• a declaration of guilt;
• proof of intent;
• a protected-attribute inference;
• a substitute for human review.

Missing evidence

Sensor gaps must remain explicit. Absence of an observation must not be rewritten as proof that an event did not occur.

Contradictory evidence

Low-confidence or contradictory hypotheses should be surfaced to a reviewer rather than collapsed into an automated adverse action.

Sensitive attributes

Do not infer sensitive or protected attributes that were not legitimately collected for the authorized task.

Public repository hygiene

Never publish private video, credentials, personal identifiers, restricted annotations or raw evidence paths that expose individuals or infrastructure.

Research communication

Always distinguish real-data component results from controlled synthetic system diagnostics. Claim boundaries are part of responsible scientific use.
