2,153 of 11,856 lines are new recordings in v3. No lines were added or removed, so every line voiced in v2 is still voiced.

Highlights

• 2,020 lines back in each character's original voice. In v2, lines that were re-recorded to fix names or broken takes used a different recording mode, and some characters sounded noticeably different from their other lines (Blackjoe could suddenly sound British). These lines are now recorded the same way as the rest of the pack, so every character keeps one consistent voice.
• Names pronounced with exact phonetics. Elysion, Anna, Livya, Lalaque, Lucia, Kanna, Vavelia, Verstein, Arua, Aramute, Durok, Alfredo, Miro, David, Aslan, Airene, Chaos and Temar are now spelled out sound by sound for the voice model, each picked by ear from test recordings.
• All 89 Elysion lines re-recorded with the corrected pronunciation.
• 44 Balt lines restored to the original v1 recordings, which said the name better.
• Lines with Luna, Miro, Pieberry and other names no longer switch to a different-sounding voice.
• Unchanged: Kanna's and Justice's own lines keep their v2 recordings, and the stutter lines are the same as v2.

Upgrading

The plugin and its settings are the same as in v1 and v2. You can either overwrite all files in the game folder with v3, or just replace the BepInEx/english-voice folder with the new v3 english-voice folder.

Sticky Auto-skip (optional, separate plugin)

By default, the game's dialogue Auto-skip (press X; the bottom-left button reads
Auto-skip / Stop Auto-skip) turns itself off at every new scene. This small
plugin remembers your choice: press X once and auto-skip stays on in every
scene until you press X again.

It reads the game's own setting instead of looking at the screen, so it works
at any resolution, windowed or fullscreen, on any monitor. No AutoHotkey or
controller driver needed. It does not need the voice pack, and the voice pack
does not need it.

3,254 of 11,856 lines (about 27%) are new recordings. No lines were added or removed, so every line voiced in v1 is still voiced.

Highlights

• 264 stutter lines re-recorded. Lines like "W-Where…" now sound like a real stammer instead of a spelled-out letter or a flat repeat.
• 59 pronunciation fixes. Names and words that were mispronounced, re-recorded using the updated pronunciation list.
• 2,925 lines re-recorded. These are the lines a speech check found with missing or wrong words, the wrong language, empty audio or a bad length, plus the lines that use the re-spelled character names. The updated takes use a new 'director' flag which follows each line's emotion more closely.
  • Kanna: all 246 of her lines are re-recorded to be less shrill.
  • Justice: all 526 of his lines are re-recorded to be less flat.
