1.0.1 seeds: finish them on 1.0.1, or regenerate. No location id moved,
but the mod refuses a seed made by a different apworld version, as it has
since 0.3.3.

Install

With a mod manager (recommended): in r2modman or Thunderstore Mod
Manager, choose A Little to the Left, search the Online tab for
A Little to the Left Archipelago, press Download, then Start modded.
BepInEx comes with it. The package is the same build as these files, on
its Thunderstore page.

By hand: three files, and they carry the same version on purpose. See
docs/installation.md.

  • ALTTLArchipelago-1.0.2.zip - the mod. Extract into the game folder. You
need BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP
    (be.755) installed first
    - it is not included.
  • alttl.apworld - only whoever generates the seed needs it. Goes in
    Archipelago's custom_worlds/. Requires Archipelago 0.6.7 or newer.
  • A Little to the Left.yaml - your settings. Edit the name and hand it to
    whoever generates.

Every player needs the yaml and whoever generates needs the apworld, from
this release whichever way you install the mod.

What a player will notice

Nothing in play changes. This release finishes 1.0.1's cleanup and fixes two
things that could go wrong without being seen.

  • A save redirect that fails now ends the run. The mod logged that it was
disconnecting to protect the campaign save, then did not, so later saves in
that run went to the campaign save. Never seen in play.
  • The connection pane no longer leaves hidden objects behind each time it
    opens.
  • Smaller cleanups: more unused code gone from the shipped files, and
slot_data no longer carries three keys the mod stopped reading
(cat_trap_chance, and each slot's source and dlc).

How it was checked

  • Full gate 30/30 and DLC gate 30/30 on these exact files, each from a fresh
install that meets and answers the game's first-run prompts, with no game
errors in either. CI green on the release commit.

  • Against 1.0.0 on the same seed, once with cat traps off and once with them
on: the same 43 checks in the same order, the same 53 items, the same 13
cat-trap outcomes, and an identical spoiler.

  • Not re-run, as nothing they cover changed: the by-hand solve of the levels
the gate cannot force, and the level table against the game (levels.json,
    abilities.json and names.json untouched).
