RTerm v3.2.1 — AI-Native Terminal App by Hyperspace Technologies

v3.2.1 (2026-08-02)

Three user-reported bugs fixed, all in the terminal/chat interaction layer.

Terminal freeze (keystrokes disappear). When a terminal wasn't writable
(SSH reconnecting, state transitioning), write() silently dropped keystrokes.
Added a pending-write buffer: keystrokes are buffered and retried 500ms later
when the terminal becomes writable. Cleaned up on kill/close. File:
TerminalService.ts (pendingWrites + pendingWriteTimers).
Chat re-trigger (response cleared + new task starts). handleSendNormal
didn't check isThinking before sending — pressing Enter while the agent was
still thinking (or just finished and the flag hadn't cleared) sent a new
message that cleared the previous response and triggered a new task. Added
an if (isThinking) return guard. File: ChatPanel.tsx.
Stop button freeze (10s rolling circle). stopCurrentRun called
stopTask() without awaiting it — the UI froze waiting for the async stop
to resolve. Made stopCurrentRun async: optimistically sets isThinking = false first (prevents re-send), then awaits stopTask with a try/catch
(backend may have already finished). File: ChatPanel.tsx.

Verified: typecheck (all workspaces) exit 0; full automation suite green;
layout/UI tests green (10/10).

macOS: After installing, run xattr -cr /Applications/RTerm.app to remove quarantine.

Linux AppImage: chmod +x RTerm-*.AppImage && ./RTerm-*.AppImage
