RTerm v3.7.2 — AI-Native Terminal App by Hyperspace Technologies

v3.7.2 (2026-09-01)

Release-hardening audit — the pre-release sweep

The formal-release audit across every feature surface: agent tools, plugins,
connections, settings, and the newest theme system.

The wiring audit (agent tools): all 54 declared tools verified dispatched
— 52 via the case switch, 5 via dedicated LangGraph nodes (exec_command,
read_file, write_file, edit_file, and create_or_edit which is a documented
legacy alias of the file-mutation capability), plus dynamic MCP and plugin
tools. Every declared tool has a model-facing description; no orphan dispatch
cases; no placeholder bodies (the one skill placeholder description is
replaced at runtime by buildSkillToolDescription(skills) — verified).

Plugins: all 15 manifests valid JSON with correct entries; every entry
exports register. All 15 load paths verified.

Connections: the connection-manager registry + nav-label specs pass;
live end-to-end verified — SSH (the Remote tab: real command, real output),
WinRM (the attest question through the estate: alive, blind_count 0), and
all three hosts reachable.

THE ONE REAL FIND — the theme system shipped untested. The v3.7.1
theme-switching (two modes, runtime switching, custom-scheme derivation)
had NO spec. Wrote appTheme.extreme.spec.ts — 9/9 passing: builtin dark
sets the semantic layer; builtin light flips (on-colors, ring-offset);
custom dark/light schemes derived by shading with their own accents; the
legacy names set alongside (stragglers keep working); the focus ring follows
the accent; an invalid accent hex degrades gracefully (no crash, fallback
ring); the applied marker; status colors from the scheme palette.

The kit spec's stale assertion (a test bug, not a product bug): the
palette-alias check froze the v3.6.0 Aurora hex values, but v3.7.1
deliberately re-themed the default to neutral graphite dark + added runtime
switching. The check now asserts the STRUCTURAL contract: every semantic
color (except the legitimately-direct on-* pairs) aliases a primitive, and
the default bg is genuinely dark (luminance < 0.08). Value-free — it will
not go stale on the next re-theme.

Verified: kit spec 10/10; appTheme spec 9/9 (wired into the suite);
connection registry + nav-label specs; the full npm test chain.
