First public release of Conqueror OS — a private, offline resilience workspace in a single HTML file.

Highlights

  • Single file, zero infrastructure. dist/conqueror-os.html is the entire app. Open it and it runs.
  • Offline by construction. No network requests after load, enforced by a Content-Security-Policy (connect-src 'none').
  • Private by default. Journal, notes and moods never leave the device. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry.

What's in this release

  • Reading: multi-book library with parts/chapters, inline highlights (3 colours + notes), notes with [[wiki links]], labelled bookmarks, favourites, focus mode, read-aloud, dwell-time tracking, 6 themes including auto/OLED/high-contrast.
  • Journal: edit, tags, filters (type/tag/date/text), rotating prompts, "on this day", draft autosave, voice dictation, image attachments (IndexedDB).
  • Trackers: custom trackers, bounds validation, edit/backfill, trend line + 7-day moving average, calendar heatmap, Pearson correlation.
  • Challenges & review: custom challenges, pause/resume, reminders, shareable progress card, and a spaced-repetition (SM-2 lite) review queue.
  • Data: schema migration, undo on every delete, import with merge/replace, encrypted backups (AES-GCM), JSON/Markdown/Word/CSV export, storage usage meter, PIN app lock.
  • UX/A11y: command palette (Ctrl/⌘ K), shortcuts overlay, onboarding, custom modals, focus traps, ARIA live regions, high-contrast theme.

Fixes carried in

UTC date bug, reader scroll-listener leak, worksheet form reload, write-only highlights, journal draft loss on filter change, dark-mode printing, theme desync, and a hashchange listener that bypassed reassigned renderers.
