LockHTML v1.0.0

Turn any HTML file into a PIN-protected document — optionally viewable only once.

Security note

The PIN provides real encryption — the file is unreadable without it, even from the raw source. "One-time view" is a browser-enforced deterrent, not a server guarantee: a determined recipient can still copy the file or screenshot the decrypted page. See SECURITY.md.

Compatibility

Files are interchangeable between the Python CLI and the JavaScript GUI. Verified by CI on Linux, Windows and macOS with Python 3.9–3.12.
