What's Changed

README rewrite: agent-first positioning

Rewrote the README to lead with what seek gives agents (ranked results, symbol search, filtered queries) rather than framing it as a ripgrep alternative.

  • Hero section now leads with BM25 ranking and symbol-aware search
  • Comparison table moved below query syntax -- positioned as "what seek adds" rather than "why not ripgrep"
  • Fixed factual inaccuracies: wrong line number in rg example, ctags emits [func] not [function] for Go, removed overclaimed MCP server support
  • Example reframed as "dozens of grep matches vs. 1 ranked result"
