v0.4.0
v0.3.2
Fix freeze during cutscene
v0.3.1
- Restored standard head-relative movement:
HEADnow makes left-stick
movement follow the headset direction without automatically rotating the
gameplay camera. - Made
HEADthe Movement Direction default for fresh configurations.
Existing saved Movement Direction choices remain unchanged. - Preserved the previous head-yaw steering behavior as the separate
HEAD TURN EXPERIMENTALmovement option, including its saved sensitivity. - Enabled the gameplay HUD by default for new installations so mission
instructions are visible even when a player never opens the VR settings.
ExistingGameplayHudchoices remain unchanged. - Completed tracked operation of the scripted helicopter-mounted M60: stable
weapon aim, independent trigger fire, optional support-hand grip, no radio
input conflict, and no collision with the player's own helicopter.
v0.3.0
- Added optional head-relative locomotion. Body-relative movement remains
available, and head steering has its own adjustable sensitivity. - Added optional head-directed firearm aiming. Tracked weapon placement,
physical scopes, melee combat, throwables, and two-handed instability remain
independent of the selected aim direction. - Added native OpenXR bindings for Valve Index, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed
Reality, and the Khronos Generic Controller profile alongside Oculus Touch. - Added alternate VR-menu shortcuts and stick/trackpad-click menu fallbacks for
controllers without a compatible application Menu button. - Added active OpenXR controller-profile reporting to
openxr_d3d12.log. - Added a dedicated HUD Settings submenu with visibility, uniform scale,
horizontal width, and X/Y placement controls. Fresh installs use 130%
uniform scale, 100% width, and zero offsets. - Made
vr_settings.iniresolve relative to the installedreVC.exeinstead
of the launcher's working directory, preventing settings from appearing to
reset when starting through SteamVR or a shortcut. - Improved remotely controlled vehicle support: the camera follows the RC
vehicle, locomotion shortcuts no longer consume its sticks, tracked hands
stay hidden, and A drops the RC helicopter bomb while X remains the normal
vehicle radio button. - Added
PASS CURRENT MISSIONas an accessibility fallback for supported
story missions in the standard PC script. The command uses guarded native
mission-success paths so normal progression and cleanup still run.
v0.2.1
Performance and controller-access hotfix. It changes the safe first-run profile to 100% Render Scale with FXAA, disables Temporal AA by default, bypasses the legacy reVC 30 FPS limiter in OpenXR, and adds Both Grips + Both Triggers + X as an alternative way to open VR Settings. The original Both Grips + Menu shortcut remains available.
