Android port of Bloodborne (v1.09) for Snapdragon phones (Adreno 6xx/7xx/8xx), with experimental Mali support. Any screen shape, native resolution, a PKG damage check and performance work for phones.

r2

  • Report a problem attaches the logs by itself: "Open GitHub issue" uploads the log zip to a public file host (gofile.io; catbox.moe and 0x0.st as fallbacks) and puts the link into the issue, so there is nothing to drag in. The dialog says so first; "Share zip" still works without uploading.
  • The 0.9.3 APK was replaced by this build (versionName 0.9.3-r2, commit eb3fd1c, tag android-0.9.3-r2). If you installed 0.9.3 already, the in-app updater does not offer r2: install this APK by hand.

New

  • Any aspect ratio (Settings → Graphics → Aspect ratio): Auto (your screen's own shape, e.g. 20:9 phones or a foldable's inner screen), 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 21:9, 32:9. On a wider screen the camera shows more at the sides, on a taller one more above and below; the HUD moves to the screen's edges, menus and full-screen fades cover the whole screen, and markers over enemies stay on them. Ported from bloodborne_pc 0.6-pre1.
  • Any output resolution per aspect ratio, including Display native (your screen's own size). The upscaler preset sets the scene size from it.
  • PKG damage check: before installing the game, the update or a mod from a PKG, the app checks the file against the checksums stored inside it ("Checking the PKG for damage…", with progress, cancelable). A damaged or cut-off download is reported before anything is unpacked, with Pick again / Cancel / Install anyway.
  • Touch controller follows the screen shape: each button keeps to the edges it was placed near, and each screen shape keeps its own layout, switched automatically (foldables' inner/outer screens, dual-screen handhelds). Edit the layout once on each screen.
  • Performance hints for Android: the game's main and GPU threads report their frame work to Android (ADPF, Android 13+), so the phone raises clocks before frames run late. Thermal status changes are written to the log.
  • Texture memory follows free RAM: the texture budget starts from the memory available at launch (1–4 GB instead of a fixed 4 GB) and shrinks while the phone is short of memory or swapping, then grows back.
  • Marked as a game for the OS: game category, Android Game Mode (performance/battery) and loading/playing state, for game dashboards and boosters. If your phone's game space (e.g. ColorOS Game Space) doesn't list it, add it there once.

Defaults for new installs

Aspect ratio Auto, output 1080p (the width follows the aspect ratio), FSR 3.1 Performance, 60 FPS limit with real-time game speed down to 20 FPS. Existing installs keep their settings: change them in Settings → Graphics.

Notes

  • Outputs or scenes above 1080p use much more memory (direct memory 9 GB); on phones with less than 12 GB RAM keep the output at 1080p or below.
  • The aspect ratio and resolution apply at the next game start (Apply & restart).

Install / update

Menu → Check for updates, or install the APK by hand over any 0.8.x/0.9.x; settings, saves, mods and the game folder are kept. Select your own extracted game folder containing eboot.bin, or install it from your own PKGs. No game files are included.
