Dough is a new item required for crafting bread and many sweet deserts!
Dough
Bread can be made either in a furnace or a smoker
Corn can be found in plains village chests, traded for with farmer villagers or obtained by throwing wheat seeds onto a stonecutter. It doesn't craft into any other food items.
Strawberries can be traded for with farmers or found in dungeon loot chests. With the strawberry you can make:

Bread & Jam
Strawberry Pie
Mangoes can drop from mango tree leaves that generate in jungles or be traded for with farmer villagers! They can be crafted into golden & enchanted golden variants.
Pears grow on Callery trees. These special trees can only be obtained through the sniffer! They can be used to craft these two:

Coffe bushes can be found in jungle edges and collected for coffe berries from which you can make proper coffe. A new desert item added alongside is Tiramisu!

Step 1 - Setup a filled cauldron with a campfire underneath
Step 2 - Put ground coffe into the cauldron
Step 3 - Wait and use an empty bottle to fill up!

Cheese can be made by boiling milk in a furance. It's craftable into two other food items:

Candy is a silly festive sweet you can quickly eat for no benefit at all. There are two candy colors pink and light blue.

Different berry bushes can be found all around the Overworld and collected. For most berries you need shears if you want to collect the bush block!

Cactus Juice is a special drink you can make from cactus flowers that grow on top of these prickly plants!
Bloom Berries grow in the Otherside dimension... creepy. They can be planted on most ceilings and aren't affected by seasons.
