v1.47.0
Highlights
Profiles now set your desktop, too. Each Control Center profile (Silent, Balanced, Gaming, Eco and your own) can now change more than fans and power limits:
- Desktop background per profile — a picture of its own, or one per screen, with previews. Profiles without one show your own Windows background, which RIGStats puts back.
- Wallpaper Engine per profile — show chosen wallpapers on each screen, pause it while you game (frees the graphics card), or turn it off in a profile to see the Windows background. Start and Stop it from the Control Center's new Desktop page. Wallpaper Engine is optional; without it, nothing changes.
- App rules — switch profile automatically while a program runs, e.g. Gaming while your game is open, and back when it closes.
Also: a game started after you pick a profile by hand now switches as it should, and Status names the LibreHardwareMonitor version that's actually built in.
Something not working with Wallpaper Engine? Status → Collect Diagnostics… and attach the ZIP to an issue — it includes what RIGStats saw (wallpaper-engine.txt and the log), no wallpaper names. Steps for each case: troubleshooting.
