This release is about making meeting detection trustworthy

  • Meeting detection is now edge-triggered — the record prompt appears only when a meeting app actually starts capturing your microphone, not whenever one is idling with the mic held open (Zoom does this constantly). Launching the app mid-call no longer auto-prompts, and the prompt can no longer fire over a recording you just started yourself.
  • New app icon — and a standardized waveform brand mark used consistently across the app.
  • Warmer recording indicator — the live-recording accent in the menu bar and popover is now a warm orange instead of system red.
