Known Limitations
- Cannot prevent uninstall by admin users
- Cannot prevent OS-level clock changes (only detects them)
- Cannot survive browser profile deletion
- Settings PIN enforced on save, not on every change (design choice)
- Recovery codes stored in browser storage (not encrypted separately)
Installation
Download content_safety_lock-1.1.0.zip and install in Firefox.
First Time Setup
- Install the extension
- Click the extension icon to open settings
- Configure your preferred filtering mode (Parental or Self-Lock)
- Set up a PIN or passphrase for security
- Test with the included test pages
