Embody externalizes TouchDesigner COMPs and DATs to diffable files and restores them on open. Envoy is the MCP server inside it that lets an AI assistant build, wire and inspect live networks. Convoy saves a remote node's project.

  • Remote save_project. convoy_call(operation="save_project") saves another machine's project, with no Allow Execute TD Python grant. Both machines need this release.
  • Never during a show. A save blocks TouchDesigner 15+ seconds and restarts Envoy, so a node in Perform Mode (or TouchDesigner's perform window) refuses it, and update_embody, with code perform_mode: the job ends without waking the machine instead of retrying until the show ends, and save_then_restart stops. +17 tests.
