  • feat(hermesagent): author fail_closed hooks and preserve MCP trust/identity_header by @dyoshikawa in #2655
    • Canonical failClosed now emits as fail_closed on pre_tool_call hooks (with a warning when set on unsupported events), and both spellings are accepted on import.
    • Hand-written trust and identity_header keys on Hermes MCP servers are no longer destroyed on regenerate.
  • feat(copilot): add preCompact and subagentStart hook events by @dyoshikawa in #2656
    • Both events are confirmed to fire on the Copilot cloud agent per the updated GitHub hooks reference.
