Wolf jPlayer plugin 2.0 (former JM jPLugin)

Wolf jPlayer adds an embeddable HTML5 audio player with playlists to e107 — as a menu item, in a page, or in a popup/iframe, with optional social share links. It is the e107 port of the (now discontinued) WordPress Wolf plugin, used with permission of the original author. Now it should run on PHP 7.4–8.4 and the current e107 v2, with all dependencies bundled. Languages are not changed, so it should work with 2.3 too.

It is not in my power to test for all environments, so this post is here just letting you know that this plugin is still used and maintained, and if you have any troubles, create an issue or ask here.

Plugin folder was renamed jm_jplayer → jplayer (code identity only); the database tables keep their original names, so no data migration is needed. It is recommended to export preferences and import them back manually. jm_jplayer last available (updated) version is in release of this plugin.

For now, I tested it only locally on existing data, but this plugin is still supported.

Thanks! I am removing underscores from all my plugin folders, so this is the reason for this change (I did 2x mistypo, unbelievable). And I still use the same old version on the live site, too. So you can wait. Too many things are changing now. But I am glad that somebody is still using this. The funny thing is, the original WP plugin is no longer available. It is proof that if you need something with a long life, rely only on yourself.

Yep and you started 10 years ago with it (1.0.1 and 1.0.2) and 1.0.3 march 2020 so 6 years no issues with it, although site was in constant regular updates. ;-)
