Pronto v0.5.3

Security patch: the standalone CLI embeds Bun 1.4.3, and CI/release tooling uses patched Node.js 22.23.4. Signed and notarized downloads, checksums, provenance, and signed update manifests are verified. The installed candidate passes startup checks for iMessage, WhatsApp, and Slack with settings preserved.

npm publication is complete: pronto-imessage@0.5.3 and pronto-whatsapp@0.5.3. Both are tagged latest. Their archives match the package tarballs attached to this release, and npm registry-signature and provenance verification pass.

Slack joins iMessage and WhatsApp in Pronto.

• Add a Slack workspace from Add App → Slack Workspace, using your existing Slack desktop sign-in. Each workspace has its own app entry and reply controls.
• Manage tags in one place and choose a default and backup agent per tag.
• Keep Slack thread context, memory and working folders separate. Replies come from your Slack identity.
• Recover recent tag uses after wake or restart with bounded searches. Setup does not import workspace histories.
• See more reliable connection and catch-up status. WhatsApp now clears an earlier catch-up warning after a successful check, even when there are no new messages.
• Clean up menu bar presentation and streamline tests and release checks.

Slack is an opt-in beta using the direct-download macOS Slack app. Replies are text only, and offline catch-up is best effort. App Store Slack and Slack Connect/externally shared conversations are unsupported. People in eligible conversations where you've participated can invoke your local agent with its configured tag.

Existing signed installations can update through Check for Updates or pronto update.
