Summary

  • Adds LICENSE (MIT, © 2026 earshttp).
  • Rewrites the README to describe only the features that ship in the current build, grouped by area (Window / Terminal / Tabs and pane splits / Search / Theming / Settings). Removes the phase-by-phase narrative and the forward-looking "next up" note.
  • License section now links to LICENSE instead of saying TBD.

Test plan

  • LICENSE file is the standard MIT text with the project copyright line.
  • README renders cleanly with the same Install / Build / Settings / Testing sections; no broken links.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- LICENSE: MIT, copyright 2026 earshttp.
- README: drop the phase-by-phase narrative and "next up" forward-looking
notes; describe only what is in this build (Window, Terminal, Tabs and
pane splits, Search, Theming, Settings). Replace the TBD license with
a link to the new LICENSE file.
