Settings: Stats Sources
A Stats Source enables certain overlays to display statistics. Right now, the only stat source that is supported is a Stats of the Storm database. As more sources get added, they will be documented here.
This source loads a local, on-disk, Stats of the Storm database. Loading this source allows you to use the stat-lower-third.html and hots-player-profile.html overlays.
- Acquire a Stats of the Storm database. There are some listed on the Public Resources page for demonstration.
- Click the "Browse" button. Select the folder containing the Stats of the Storm database.
- Click on the Load Data button.
Once the database is loaded, you will be able to set the Stats of the Storm collection using the "Collection" dropdown menu, if desired.
The button says "Load OK", but the controls in the Stats tab hang.
This is typically caused by the system being unable to obtain a write lock on the database files. Make sure there are no other apps (Stats of the Storm) that are open and using the same database, then close and re-open Soothsayer. If the problem persists, you can either re-download the database (if possible), or go in to the database files, and delete the .lock files in each of the four .ldb folders.
