EBUCorePlus v2.1.0

This release provides a major editorial update to EBUCorePlus and introduces multilingual ontology distributions.

What’s new

  • Fully reviewed and updated descriptions and definitions
  • Normalised English annotations across the ontology
  • English retained as the authoritative reference version
  • New English–French bilingual distribution
  • New English–German bilingual distribution
  • Improved consistency of labels, definitions and descriptions
  • No intended changes to the ontology model, classes, properties or identifiers

Additional language versions can be generated on demand. Please contact the EBU team through the repository or by email.

Compatibility

This release focuses on annotation quality and multilingual accessibility. It does not intentionally introduce semantic changes to the ontology model.
