terminaltrees v1.0.0
terminaltrees adds evenly spaced terminal leaves and rounded branches to LaTeX Forest trees, using ordinary Forest bracket syntax.
Add terminal tree to a forest environment to align the leaves on one baseline. Label measurements determine their spacing, and each parent is centered between its first and last immediate children. Adjust leaf pitch or roundness when needed.
Use fittedterminaltree to shrink a tree to the existing page layout, subject to a minimum label size. It can move the whole tree to the next page, but does not change the paper size or split a tree across pages.
Download terminaltrees.zip for the package, source, illustrated manual, fitting comparisons and tests. Place terminaltrees.sty beside your document and compile with pdfLaTeX. Forest and needspace are required.
See the manual for measurement limits and unsupported contexts. Fitting does not support floats or minipages, and the package does not provide tagged-PDF tree semantics.
