Summary

Drifty 1.6.7 adds privacy-minimized ChatGPT and Codex session titles, persistent site icons, desktop-cat onboarding controls, and navigation and update refinements.

Changes

Security / Privacy

  • Site icons load only over HTTPS from a fixed host allowlist, with redirects rechecked and no cookies or authorization headers sent.
  • ChatGPT and Codex context uses only titles exposed through macOS Accessibility; message bodies, prompts, and commands remain unread.

Added

  • Onboarding now introduces the desktop cat and lets people choose how Drifty responds after sustained drift.
  • Added a persistent local site-icon cache that can be cleared from Settings > Privacy.

Changed

  • Refined the menu-bar icon, default Social media color, date navigation, Trends headings, and sidebar-label sizing.

Fixed

  • Manual tray and account-menu update checks now show status without reopening or changing the main window.
  • Packaged Mac builds now include the native helper required for session-title capture, and Week, Trends, and drift details use available site icons.
