Hreflang Cluster Auditor v0.1.0

@KRISHNAMMurarka KRISHNAMMurarka released this 28 Sep 14:12

Edilec's first public MIT source release of Hreflang Cluster Auditor, a dependency-free Node.js 22+ CLI for checking exported HTML and sitemap files before a multilingual site release.

It checks reciprocal and self-referencing alternates, BCP 47 tag syntax, canonical agreement, cluster membership and declared x-default policy. It reads supplied local files only. It does not fetch live pages, verify language-subtag registration, or observe search-engine locale selection.

Start with the public synthetic fixture:

git clone https://github.com/edilec/hreflang-cluster-auditor.git
cd hreflang-cluster-auditor
node bin/hreflang-cluster-auditor.mjs --config examples/clean/hreflang.config.json

The exact release tree passed npm run check: syntax checks, 116 tests, the clean example and a 24-file package dry run. The Edilec hreflang at scale guide covers generation and live monitoring beyond this local-export check.

Edilec maintains this tool. These notes were prepared with AI assistance and checked against the public code and fixtures. This is a GitHub source release; it is not an npm registry publication.
