Robots Policy Auditor v0.1.0

First versioned source release of Edilec's MIT-licensed, dependency-free Node.js 22+ CLI for evaluating a supplied robots.txt, captured X-Robots-Tag headers and captured HTML robots directives against an agent/URL list.

The report separates crawl permission from indexing directives and names the rule that won. A disallowed URL is not described as removed from an index; a noindex hidden behind a disallow is reported. Missing or incomplete captured response evidence stays unverified rather than passing. The repository includes clean and deliberately broken synthetic fixtures, a documented rule catalog and JSON output.

The Edilec worked example shows the public fixtures and the tool's limits. Source and usage are available on GitHub. This CLI reads local evidence only; it does not fetch a live site, prove Google indexing or publish an npm package.

Run this version directly from its public GitHub tag with Node.js 22+:

To run the checked-in synthetic fixtures, clone the repository and use the commands in its README. The GitHub-source command above was tested independently of an npm registry publication.
