XML Sitemap Validator v0.1.0

Edilec's first public MIT source release of XML Sitemap Validator, a dependency-free Node.js 22+ CLI for checking saved XML and gzipped sitemap trees before deployment.

It checks namespace and field rules, URL and calendar-date syntax, declared host scope, duplicate entries, protocol size limits and bounded sitemap-index recursion. It reads local files only. It does not fetch pages, compare the sitemap against a site's route inventory, or verify search-engine crawling and indexing.

Start with the public synthetic fixture:
