• Echo user prompt and show a "Loading config" progress before resolving config, so slow ${cmd:...} keys no longer delay the chat UI.
• Fix config cache thrashing on unrelated db changes, which re-ran ${cmd:...} commands on every request and poll; cache successful ${cmd:...} results for 5 minutes.
