Lucy's Shape Forge - v1.2.0

A new output mode for 3D printing, plus a proper hollow-shell option for both Bodies and the new Flat Panels mode.

  • Flat Panels output mode — lays every face out as a flat, edge-to-edge 2D net in one sketch (like an unfolded soccer ball), then extrudes each panel with a taper angle so it's physically equivalent to that face's Bodies-mode frustum, oriented flat for a print bed instead of scattered around the shape's true 3D position. Only available for shapes where every vertex is the same distance from center (same shapes Rounded exterior supports); a separate, non-blocking warning flags shapes whose faces don't all share one edge length, since some panels may still come out misshapen there.
  • Shell Body — hollow out split panels (Bodies or Flat Panels) into a thin-walled cavity of a chosen Wall Thickness, instead of a solid wedge.
  • Shell Faces — choose which face(s) Shell Body opens: Inside (default, toward the shape's center), Outside (the true visible face instead), or Both (a through-cavity with just the tapered walls remaining).
  • Shell Style — Sharp (default) or Rounded cavity corners, matching the two styles in Fusion's own Shell command.
  • Edge Length now defaults to 44mm — the standard seam/edge length of a real soccer ball, a nod to this project's origin as a World Cup soccer-ball build.
