🧩 Removed EmuDeck AppImages

This release contains AppImage files for applications that are no longer included or easily available through EmuDeck.

📥 Installation

  1. Download the AppImage file you need from the Assets section below.
  2. Switch to Desktop Mode on SteamOS.
  3. Open the file manager and go to:
/home/deck/Applications/
  1. Copy or move the downloaded .AppImage file into the Applications folder.
  2. Launch the AppImage at least once.
  3. Launch EmuDeck and reset the corresponding emulator so EmuDeck can configure it to use the AppImage.

📁 Folder Location

Your AppImage should be placed directly inside:

/home/deck/Applications/

Example:

/home/deck/Applications/
├── ApplicationName.AppImage
├── AnotherApplication.AppImage
└── ...

Do not extract the AppImage. Just place the .AppImage file directly in the Applications folder.

✅ After Installation

Once the AppImage is in /home/deck/Applications/, you can launch it from Desktop Mode or add it to Steam as a Non-Steam Game if you want access from Gaming Mode.

Note: These files are provided for convenience and compatibility with EmuDeck setups where the original AppImage is no longer bundled or readily available.

Download the AppImage you need from the Assets section below and place it in /home/deck/Applications/.

🎮Complete EmuDeck BIOS Pack

This release contains a complete pre-organized BIOS pack intended for use with EmuDeck.

📥 Installation

  1. Download the BIOS pack from the Assets section below.

  2. Extract the downloaded archive.

  3. Open your EmuDeck BIOS directory:

    Emulation/bios

  4. Back up your existing bios folder if you want to keep your current files.

  5. Copy the contents of the downloaded BIOS pack into the bios folder.

  6. When prompted, choose Replace / Overwrite existing files.

  7. Restart EmulationStation/ES-DE or the emulator you are using.

📁 Important

Your final folder should look similar to:

Emulation/
└── bios/
    ├── ...
    ├── ...
    └── ...

Do not accidentally create an extra nested folder such as:

Emulation/bios/bios/

The BIOS files should be placed directly inside the existing EmuDeck bios directory, while preserving any subfolders included in the pack.

✅ After Installation

You can verify your BIOS files through EmuDeck → BIOS Checker. If a system still reports a missing BIOS, make sure the archive was fully extracted and the files were copied to the correct location.

Download the appropriate file from the Assets section below and follow the steps above.
