Supersedes v5.4.12 as the recommended release.

  • Preserves ~/.opencode-mcp/state across installer updates and forced reinstalls so durable active-job metadata is not stranded during upgrades.
  • Includes the v5.4.12 DeepSeek Reasoner fix: hidden reasoning parts count as live progress, status reports phase: receiving_reasoning and latest_assistant_reasoning_chars, and reasoning text remains hidden unless OPENCODE_INCLUDE_REASONING=1 is set.
  • Updated README, GUIDE, AGENTS, ARCHITECTURE, and CHANGELOG docs.

Verification:

  • npm test passes: 105/105.
  • Real DeepSeek plan-mode background verification returned a pollable job, reported receiving_reasoning, and returned the final sentinel after ~102s.
  • Installer preservation smoke test force-installed a release into a temp directory and kept an existing state/sentinel file.
