• New "Items" Preset (Flat / 1 Level / All): Added the Items view preset, providing a clean flat overview of direct subfolders and immediate files without recursive deep traversal.
  • Positioned right above List in all preset dropdowns and settings reference tables (Explorer, Navigate, Columns, Context, Contents, Files, Items, List).
  • Full localization support across English (Items), Traditional Chinese (項目), and Simplified Chinese (项目).
• Fixed Flat Mode Single-Level Depth Limitation:
  • Resolved an issue in collectFolderGroup where showFolders || short-circuited depth checking, inadvertently collecting and rendering files inside first-level subfolders in Flat view.
  • Aligned Flat mode with Tree mode behavior so that reaching depthLimit strictly prevents collecting or unfolding descendant files beyond the specified depth.
• 1:N Multi-Child Cascading Panel Linking:
  • Upgraded PanelBindingManager to allow a single parent panel to bind and synchronize multiple child panels simultaneously (childrenOf: Map<string, Set<string>>).
  • Folder focus changes in the parent panel now broadcast across all active following child panels.
• Bi-directional Differential Hover Highlighting:
  • Hovering a parent panel's link icon highlights the parent and all of its bound child panels simultaneously.
  • Hovering a child panel's link icon highlights only that child panel and its parent, leaving other sibling child panels untouched.

• 136/136 unit and integration tests passing (npm test).
• Project checks (npm run check:project), strict TypeScript checking, and ESLint (0 errors, 0 warnings) passing.
• Verified live in Obsidian runtime via Chrome DevTools Protocol (probe.mjs):
  • Verified 8 presets rendered in exact order in settings view.
  • Verified 1:N focus broadcast and binding lifecycle across multiple child panels.
  • Verified Flat mode 1-level filtering on real vault folder (20 Company): rendered exactly 13 direct items (2 subfolders + 11 files) with 0 deep files expanded.
• Production build and byte-identical deployment verified across test vaults (quartz-vault, Note).
