sim 0.2.1

This patch corrects the window-key help and the interactive tutor.

  • The Ctrl-w prefix help now describes its supported focus keys, including t and b.
  • All ten tutor languages distinguish opening/focusing the tree from closing it and teach Ctrl-w then w to move focus while keeping the tree open.
  • Exercise 9.3 is covered with the tree initially open and closed. The packed lessons match the reviewed text.

The runtime implementation, dependencies and size limits are unchanged.

Install

brew update
brew upgrade efg-technologies/tap/sim

For a first install: brew install efg-technologies/tap/sim.

The source asset is sim-0.2.1.tar.gz; it includes the patched syntect used by the project. AUR and crates.io publication remain separate work. The GUI remains a source-only prototype, with real-display validation outstanding.

Validation

  • Full project check: 14 checks passed; cargo reported 1,688 passed, zero failed, 28 ignored.
  • Full terminal E2E: 174 passed, zero failed.
  • Linux release binary: 5,291,864 bytes, below the existing 5,292,032-byte limit.
  • Linux and macOS CI passed. The first Linux debug timing check took 2.010s against its unchanged 2s bound; one unchanged-commit rerun passed.
  • Separate agent review found no blocking defects.
  • The eight translated locales beyond English and Japanese still await native-language review.
