v1.1.3 β Interval Timer
What's new
- Tidier top bar. Settings now has a gear icon. On phones and narrow windows the title and buttons share one row, with the tabs underneath. Every top-bar button has a tooltip, in English and Turkish.
- Alarm sound and length in one place. The work, break and timer alarm lengths moved from Settings into the Alarm dialog and apply as soon as you change them.
- No more overflowing top bar. Quit no longer sticks out past the bar, and windows between 441 and 620 px wide no longer scroll sideways.
- The alarm file picker remembers its folder and opens where you last picked an alarm.
- Electron 44.9.3 (was 41), with all open dependency security advisories fixed.
- Update check uses the new repository address (ege-ozel/interval-timer).
Install
Download Interval.Timer.Setup.1.1.3.exe below and run it. It installs over 1.1.x and keeps your presets and settings.
The installer is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn: choose More info β Run anyway.

v1.0.0 β Interval Timer
Interval Timer β first release π
A desktop interval/countdown timer for Windows, built for work/break cycles (Pomodoro-style), with alarms that can play a local sound file, a YouTube video, or a Spotify track.
Features
- Interval Timer β configurable work/break durations and loop count, with a running phase/status display.
- Countdown Timer β a simple one-shot timer, separate from the interval loop.
- Presets β save and switch between named timer configurations; three seeded defaults (Pomodoro, Short Focus, Deep Work) plus up to 20 of your own.
- Alarm sources β local audio file, YouTube video/URL, or Spotify track, with automatic fallback to the local alarm if a source fails to load or play.
- Pause / Continue β every alarm source resumes correctly rather than losing its duration cap or restarting from zero.
- Mini window β a small always-on-top window that mirrors and controls the active timer, and stays above other apps even when they go fullscreen.
- System tray β runs in the tray and keeps ticking in the background.
Installation
Download Interval Timer Setup 1.0.0.exe below and run it. No Node.js or build tools required.
Note: this installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen will likely show an "Unknown publisher" warning on first run β click More info β Run anyway to proceed. This is expected for an unsigned indie app and not a sign of anything wrong with the download.
Known limitations
- Spotify alarms currently have no reliable preview clip playback β full-track playback needs Widevine support that stock Electron doesn't ship.
- No auto-update yet β future versions will need to be downloaded manually from this Releases page.
- Windows only.
