Astra v0.2 Release Notes

We’re excited to introduce Astra v0.2, focused on a streamlined developer experience and improved component management.

What's New

CLI Tool Released

You can now easily install components via our CLI:

pnpm dlx astui@latest add accordion

Replace accordion with any other supported component. This command handles the setup for you and reduces the overhead of manual integration.

Modern, Organized Package

Astra now follows a modern and modular structure, making it easier to maintain and scale over time. The package is designed to stay up to date with continuous improvements and better integration with modern React setups.

Automated Setup Includes:

• astra.config.json for managing your component setup
• lib/utils.ts for shared utilities
• Core dependencies:
  • clsx or cn for conditional classNames
  • variant package (note: double-check the exact name in your dependency list)

Icon Support Update

Currently, Astra installs react-lucid icons by default.

Note: This will soon be replaced by react-icons to provide a more versatile and widely supported icon library.
