📦 EGM Downloader v1.2.3 — FULLY LOADED

Comes equipped. No assembly required.

Optional Libraries

  • 📦 Five libraries now bundled — brotli, pycryptodomex, websockets, certifi, and curl_cffi ship with the app and are available on first launch across all platforms
  • ⚙️ Optional Libraries panel — new card in Advanced → Plugins shows all five with their installed versions (Mac and Linux included). Update any of them independently without reinstalling the app.
  • 🪟 Windows Portable — brotli sentinel fix; existing installs detect and install the new libraries automatically on next launch

Universal MP4

  • 🎬 MP4 H.264 is now the default output format across all platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux). Already-H.264 files are remuxed without re-encoding. Consistent behavior across the whole team.

Panel Redesigns

  • 🎨 Themes panel — Create Theme button at top, recent themes list below, proper footer with Save and Cancel. All Themes count now includes imported themes and updates live across windows.
  • 📜 History panel — SVG action icons (hover-reveal), 48×36 thumbnails, total count in the header, unified footer with Show older and Clear all. Expanded history window matches.
  • ⚙️ Settings panel — Download folder + Format/Quality on the left, Site Cookies on the right, in two side-by-side boxes with a clean divider.

Shortcuts & UX

  • ⌨️ Ctrl+K opens the Theme Creator from anywhere in the app — all platforms
  • ❓ Ctrl+K shortcut listed in the Help modal

Security

  • 🔒 History XSS fix — title, filename, and URL fields in the history panel are now properly escaped before rendering. Closes a stored XSS vector from crafted download metadata.
  • 🔒 Security score: 9.5/10 — isTrustedSender count: 50 (locked)

Tests

  • 🧪 88 automated tests — all passing
