Highlights

⚠️ Breaking — ai ask moves to the async Assistant endpoint. The deprecated Copilot
endpoint (/ai/copilot/ask) is replaced by /ai/assistant/ask. The command now submits
and polls for a result, requires --yes or --dry-run, and returns a status object
(status, responseText, citations, …) instead of { response }. Scripts must check
status before reading responseText.

New: ai status <executionId> to check a running execution, and --no-wait on
ai ask to submit without polling. Multi-turn conversations via conversationId.

New: AI commands, search and file content reads now send the AI Safeguards header,
so server-side policies are enforced.

Improved: OAuth login with the built-in app captures the authorization code
automatically via a local callback server (RFC 8252) — no copy-pasting. Windows login fixed.
