• Fix permission errors when creating a missing journal from the overview's Today's journal shortcut. The overview now declares the write access required by that operation. Existing journals open without being overwritten.
• Tighten the phone layout: the Today row shares space with refresh, statistics use compact inline values, and section spacing leaves more room for the activity chart and recent entries.

On mobile, enable Journals again in each Space after updating. Requires Plugin API 3.0.0 and Eidos Lite 0.20.0 or later. Current Android and iOS mobile host builds are supported; CLI Serve is not supported.

• Open or create today's journal directly from the overview. The shortcut uses your configured folder and local date, preserves existing content, and remains available while statistics load.
• A compact mobile layout replaces large headings and bordered statistics cards with quiet dividers and full-width recent-entry rows. Light and dark colors follow the host theme.
• The activity chart opens near recent dates and retains its horizontal position when refreshed.

Existing journal files, settings, navigation entries, and permissions are unchanged. Requires Plugin API 3.0.0 and Eidos Lite 0.20.0 or later; CLI Serve is not supported. Android users should use a current mobile host build, including the plugin WebView viewport fix if affected by blank pages.

Journals now declares a navigation entry for its overview. After enabling it in a Space, open Journals directly from the host navigation. Android builds with plugin Page navigation support show the entry in the bottom bar, or under More when the bar is full.

The Today and overview commands remain available. This update does not change journal files, folder settings, file organization, or requested permissions.

Requires Eidos Lite 0.20.0 or later with Plugin API 3.0.0. On Android, update to a build that supports plugin Page navigation. CLI Serve is not supported.

Install this version with Eidos Lite 0.19.0 or later and review its Space file permission when prompted. CLI Serve does not support Journals.

Journals 0.3.3

Journals opens or creates today's Markdown journal in the current Eidos Lite Space. Its overview adds a yearly writing heatmap, streaks, day counts, and recent entries. Journal contents stay local; the overview receives file paths and non-empty line counts.

Requires Eidos Lite 0.18.0 or later with plugin API 1.5.0. It is not compatible with CLI Serve.

Download eidos.journals-0.3.3.eidos-plugin and its .sha256 file below. Install the package through Plugins → Install plugin… in Eidos Lite, then enable Journals in your Space.
