What's New

Small patch release: one real bug fix in context token accounting, plus some doc cleanup.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed double-counting of request framing overhead in TokenCounter.count_context(). System prompt and history were counted independently, so per-request framing tokens got added twice. History is now counted as the increment over the system messages, and tool tokens as the increment over the full message list. The breakdown is now additive: system_prompt + history + tools == total. Thanks @Excelius-Wang (#279)
