First Rust release

Single tabctl binary replacing TypeScript CLI + Go launcher.

Install

mise use -g github:ekroon/tabctl
tabctl setup --browser edge  # or chrome

What's new

  • Single binary: CLI + native messaging host + launcher consolidated
  • Cross-platform: macOS (arm64, x86_64), Linux (x86_64, arm64), Windows (x86_64)
  • tabctl setup downloads extension from this release automatically
  • No Node.js or Go runtime required

Breaking changes

  • Separate tabctl-cli, tabctl-host, tabctl-launcher binaries replaced by single tabctl
  • Native messaging manifest path now points to tabctl binary
