Elbera Tools Core 0.2.0 preview — original class defaults

Choose a tag to compare

A standalone source-only preview of Elbera Tools Core, including the new original class-prefix decoder from PR #59.

The file-123 UClass reader follows supported original serializer paths to locate default properties. It separates native script memory size from saved byte length and rejects unsupported tokens instead of guessing a boundary. This resolves an observed mover-property ambiguity in the pinned Interlude source inputs.

The ZIP includes 18 explicitly selected source/documentation files, authored tests and a SHA-256 manifest. Its 36 portable smoke cases pass after extraction using only Python’s standard library. No browser application, original client files, generated game assets, private receipts or third-party binaries are included.

After extracting, run:

python3 tools/release/smoke_core.py

Read the included evidence guide for supported tokens, original source fingerprints, API usage and limits. Original-input/native verification requires the full repository and your own matching files. This reader does not execute scripts, construct live classes or provide a complete game client. The existing 0.1.0 release is unchanged.

Elbera Tools BSP Inspector 0.1.0

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

A standalone Elbera Tools inspector for the original world BSP extent-sweep component. Includes the actual browser module, a synthetic fixture, local source-file loading, diagnostic projections, 43 portable tests and a file-hash manifest.

Extract the ZIP, serve its directory with python3 -m http.server 8000 --bind 127.0.0.1, and open http://127.0.0.1:8000/editor/world/test/index.html. No npm install or game files are needed for the fixture. Python3 and Node22+ can verify the extracted kit with python3 tools/release/smoke_bsp.py.

Nine explicitly allowlisted source/documentation files plus the manifest. No original client inputs, generated maps, DLLs, accounts or server software are included. Local source exports are read in the browser without upload. The original-input exporter and native verifier remain separate tools in the full repository.

Scope: no-owner world BSP with nonzero extent, original hull orientation, bounds, bevels and final hit adjustment. Terrain, actors, adjacent levels, transformed brushes and native movement/camera integration remain unfinished. Float64 approximates original x87 arithmetic; this prerelease is not a complete game collision or client-parity claim.

Elbera Tools NPC Source 0.1.0

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@elberacasa elberacasa released this 27 Sep 22:30
8bfd52a

A standalone Elbera Tools source-analysis kit for the L2 community. Recover qualified NPC animation references, preserve original sparse keys and inspect bounded native evidence using your own Interlude inputs.

Included

  • Original NPC class, mesh and animation selector recovery.
  • Sparse-key runtime bundle export, including optional original GPU soft52 influence inputs.
  • Bounded initial-animation and GPU native evidence checks.
  • 43 allowlisted text files, a per-file SHA256 manifest, documented inputs and portable synthetic tests.

This is a separate kit. Elbera Tools Core 0.1.0 remains unchanged. The graphical inspectors shown in the repository gallery belong to the full project and are not included in this ZIP.

Quick start

Extract the archive, enter elbera-tools-npc-source-0.1.0, then run:

python3 tools/release/smoke_npc_source.py
python3 tools/anim/build_npc_variants.py --help

The default 89 checks require only Python and no game files. The optional 97-check suite requires Capstone 5.0.7; follow the included README. Original-input native checks require pinned matching binaries and explicitly supplied supplemental files. Runtime bundle export additionally requires matching converted model data.

Provenance and validation

Built from clean source commit 8bfd52a147a0360019e70dc80b4b771e6877b7c1. The actual isolated archive passed 97 checks without skips; its 43 payloads match the committed source blobs. Rebuilding with identical source and toolchain produced identical bytes. The full source-only workflow and all three GitHub checks passed.

Archive SHA256:

e1a6cf742d8e7b414ac3fbdb7c8f2deb1ce1cc57d09e45125991a977e34e2b98

No original client files, converted models, generated assets, accounts, credentials or local receipts are bundled. MIT covers authored project code; external dependencies retain their own licenses. These checks establish their documented boundaries, not full original-client parity. Live original NPC state playback remains a separate integration milestone.

Elbera Tools Core 0.1.0 — standalone source toolkit

Choose a tag to compare

The first standalone Elbera Tools Core source kit from ELBERA's Lineage II Interlude browser-port work.

Download elbera-tools-core-0.1.0.zip below. The automatic GitHub “Source code” archives contain the broader repository and are not the standalone Core kit. SHA256SUMS verifies the downloadable kit; its internal MANIFEST.json identifies the exact source revision and every included file.

Included

  • Python package, DAT and texture readers in l2lib.
  • A conservative UTX texture inspection/replacement tool.
  • Bounded original ScriptText extraction.
  • XDAT window/control inspection.
  • Documentation, license scope and 27 portable synthetic checks.

Extract the ZIP, enter its directory, and run:

python3 tools/release/smoke_core.py
python3 tools/xdat/parse_xdat.py --help
python3 tools/uscript/extract_uscript.py --help

Python 3.10+ is recommended. The portable checks use only Python's standard library. Original-data operations require your own matching inputs; some encryption paths require a separately built l2encdec, which is not included. Full XDAT checking also needs matching exported textures. Read the included README before using a tool on real files.

Scope

This is an early, deliberately limited source toolkit, not a playable game release or a complete converter. It contains 15 allowlisted source/documentation files plus the manifest; no original client files, generated game assets, server data, credentials, third-party binaries or screenshots are bundled. Synthetic tests verify supported cases, not complete native-client fidelity.

The project guide shows actual browser inspection layouts and bounded gameplay progress. The full tool catalog documents additional repository tools and their private-input requirements. The coverage inventory tracks the ongoing full-browser-port goal.
