Added

  • Add graceful sorting cancellation, including stopping video extraction and clustering while preserving files during renaming.
  • Add configurable parallel video frame workers in Settings, with one worker by default and one decoder thread per worker.

Changed

  • Group PNG compression and image resize optimization under Image processing in Settings.
  • Existing settings.ini files require video_workers = 1 in the [performance] section before launching this version; see the README.

Fixed

  • Pass the stop event to image scanning so cancellation also stops folder traversal.

Download Spectra-0.6.2-windows-amd64-Setup.exe. Setup installs a private Python runtime and dependencies with uv and requires an internet connection.

Validation: 53 tests passed, including cancellation and parallel video extraction tests; installer compiled successfully and its product version is 0.6.2. No clean-VM installer lifecycle validation was performed for this patch.
