Hi, I've been looking into this and traced the root cause.

Proposed approach: Debug highlight-addon.js — the highlightKeywords method processes patterns sequentially on text segments. After pattern 1 inserts ANSI codes, pattern 2 operates on modified text containing escape sequences. Fix: either (1) collect all match positions first across all patterns, then apply highlights in reverse position order to avoid offset shifts, or (2) ensure the sequential replacement properly handles ANSI-code-interleaved text. Test with multiple different keywords appearing on the same line.
