spec-kit-aee 1.3.0 — reports claim maturity stages, both lanes, and what remains not understood
spec-kit-aee 1.3.0 works with the AEE engine 1.5.0 and speaks its new language.
What the extension shows you now. When the engine checks a set of claims, each claim sits at a maturity stage — created, checked, explained, accepted, digested — and machine checks alone can only ever reach "checked". The extension's reports now show the stage each claim actually reached (never the stage its author merely claimed), the pair of results that must be read together — what machines verified, and where human understanding has got to — and a plain statement of what remains not understood about each claim. A gate decision is described as what it is: a checking-stage decision, not acceptance.
Engine requirement. This release needs engine 1.5.0 or later (and refuses, with a clear message, anything older). The engine is on PyPI as applied-epistemic-engineering.
Also in this release (from the adversarial-review fixes that landed alongside): evidence files that escape the project folder through symbolic links are refused by name before anything runs; a hung engine times out as an error instead of freezing the session; secrets are scrubbed from the run records; and the install checker can verify the extension from its release archive, the same way the catalog installs it.
