תאריכים
- המרת תאריכים: חלון חדש בתפריט "כלים" - כותבים תאריך עברי או לועזי, חג (א' דחומה"ס), פרשה (ב' וירא) או תקופה ("בין המצרים", אלול תרצ"ט, קיץ 1967), ומקבלים אותו בלוח השני. אפשר להעתיק את התוצאה, לשלוח אותה לחלון שעבדתם בו קודם (גם בסוגריים), או לעבור לתאריך בלוח. נתקלתם תוך כדי עבודה במסמך בתאריך הדורש המרה? העתיקו אותו ללוח העריכה (Clipboard) והפעילו את חלון "המרת תאריכים" - הוא ייפתח עם התאריך שהעתקתם.
- הממיר יודע לקרוא תאריכים בכל כתיב מקובל, ומבין שמות וביטויים מקובלים כמו ער"ח, "שבת שובה", "ליל...", "לירח זיו", שנה שניתנה בגימטריה של פסוק ועוד. טקסט שלא הובן - מדווח ככזה, ולא מתפרש בטעות.
- תאריכים מתוך Word: עם התוסף WordAccessories - תפריט "תאריכים": המרת התאריך המסומן, או הוספת תאריך שנבחר ברב לוח.
- העתקת תאריך והקלדתו בחלון הקודם: נפתח תפריט עם צורות כתיבה שונות של התאריך בלוח (עברי ולועזי). בחרו את הצורה הרצויה בלחיצת עכבר או במקשי הספרות. הצורה האחרונה שבחרתם מסומנת לפעם הבאה.
- הגדרות "כתיבת תאריכים": לוכסן או נקודה בתאריך הלועזי הקצר, שנה בשתי ספרות, "ב" לפני החודש העברי (י"ב בחשון), והיום בשבוע - בהעתקה, בהקלדה ובחלון ההמרה.
- טווח רחב בהרבה: משנת 3762 העברית עד סוף שנת 5999. תאריכים לועזיים לפני אוקטובר 1582 מוצגים בלוח היוליאני (ניתן לשינוי בהגדרות).
- בקצה הטווח: התאריך פשוט נשאר, ורמז קצר מציג את הטווח הנתמך - בלי הודעות חוזרות בגלילה.
לוח ומועדים
- תזכורת סליחות: בשבת שלפני תחילת הסליחות ("סליחות במוצ"ש") וביום הראשון ("א' דסליחות"), לפי מנהג אשכנז - יחד עם תזכורות טל וגשם. ההגדרה נקראת עכשיו "הצג תזכורות תפילה (טל/גשם, סליחות)".
- טבלת קידוש לבנה לכל השנה: לחצן "קידוש לבנה" בחלון קביעות השנה.
זמני היום
- זמנים חדשים: סוף זמן ביעור חמץ, סוף זמן תפילת מוסף, תחילת שעה עשירית, ותחילת וסוף זמן קידוש לבנה. זמן שאינו שייך ליום (כמו הדלקת נרות ביום חול) לא מוצג.
- הדלקת נרות ביום טוב שבמוצאי שבת: מוצג "אחרי צאת השבת" (וביום טוב שני - "אחרי צאת החג").
- יצוא זמנים: חלון חדש - כל מיקום שמור, חודש, שנה או טווח תאריכים, בחירת הזמנים, ודף להדפסה או קובץ לאקסל.
ארועים ויצוא
- יבוא ויצוא ארועים: בחלון הארועים - יצוא ארועים לקובץ, ויבוא ארועים ממשתמש אחר או מגיבוי. לפני היבוא מוצגת סקירה: ארועים זהים מדולגים, וארוע דומה לקיים מוצג לידו כדי לבחור - לדלג, להוסיף או להחליף. "בטל יבוא אחרון" מחזיר את המצב הקודם.
- חלון ארועים נוח יותר: תיאור רחב שמוצג במלואו, תפריט בקליק ימני (ערוך, מחק, הצג בלוח), מיון לפי א"ב, חיפוש ב-Ctrl+F, וגודל החלון נשמר.
- יצוא לוח: חלון חדש - חודשי או שנתי, לכל חודש ושנה, בלוח עברי או לועזי, ובחירה אילו ארועים יופיעו (גם ביצוא ליומן).
כללי
- הנתונים בתיקיית המסמכים: ארועים, מיקומים, הגדרות ולוחות "חי" נשמרים במסמכים\רב לוח - נכללים בגיבוי ונשמרים בהתקנה מחדש של Windows. הנתונים הקיימים מועתקים לשם אוטומטית.
- שמירה בטוחה: תקלה באמצע שמירה לא משאירה קובץ פגום.
- חלון הגדרות קומפקטי יותר: רמז על "פתח תיקיית נתונים" מסביר מה יש בתיקייה והיכן היא.
- חלון ראשי קומפקטי יותר, ובחזרה מהרקע (מהסמל ליד השעון או מתזכורת) הלוח נפתח על היום.
- עוד קיצורי מקשים בתפריטים.
- תיקונים בחישובי הלוח ובתצוגת החלון הראשי.
הורדה והתקנה
מורידים את RavLuach-Setup.exe (ברשימת הקבצים למטה) ומתקינים מעל הגרסה הקיימת - הארועים, המיקומים וההגדרות נשמרים (ומועתקים לתיקיית המסמכים). התקנה ראשונה: ראו הוראות ההתקנה בגרסה 2.0.0.
דרישות: Windows 10 או 11, 64 ביט, ו-.NET 8 Desktop Runtime.
במחשב בלי .NET 8 אפשר להוריד במקום זאת את RavLuach-Setup-Full.exe - קובץ גדול יותר (כ-50MB), שכולל את .NET 8 ולא דורש התקנה נוספת.
רב לוח חינם לשימוש אישי בלבד - ר' תנאי הרישיון בהתקנה.
זמני היום מחושבים בקירוב - אין לסמוך עליהם בצמצום.

What's new
Dates
- Date conversion: a new window in the Tools menu - type a Hebrew or civil date, a holiday (א' דחומה"ס), a parasha (ב' וירא) or a period ("בין המצרים", אלול תרצ"ט, Summer 1967), and get it in the other calendar. Copy the result, send it to the window you were working in before (also in parentheses), or go to the date in the calendar. Came across a date that needs converting while working on a document? Copy it to the clipboard and open the "Date conversion" window - it opens with the date you copied.
- The converter reads dates in any common spelling, and understands common names and expressions such as Erev Rosh Chodesh, "Shabbat Shuva", "Leil...", "לירח זיו", a year given as the gematria of a verse, and more. Text that is not understood is reported as such, not misread.
- Dates in Word: with the WordAccessories add-in - a "Dates" menu: convert the selected date, or insert a date picked in RavLuach.
- Copying a date and typing it into the previous window: a menu opens with different ways of writing the date (Hebrew and civil). Pick one with the mouse or the digit keys. The form you chose last is marked for next time.
- "Writing dates" settings: slash or dot in the short civil date, a two-digit year, "ב" before the Hebrew month (י"ב בחשון), and the weekday - for copying, typing and the conversion window.
- A much wider range: from the Hebrew year 3762 through the end of 5999. Civil dates before October 1582 are shown in the Julian calendar (can be changed in the settings).
- At the edge of the range: the date simply stays, and a short tooltip shows the supported range - no repeated messages while scrolling.
Calendar and holidays
- Selichot reminder: on the Shabbat before Selichot begin ("סליחות במוצ"ש") and on their first day ("א' דסליחות"), by the Ashkenazi custom - together with the Tal/Geshem reminders. The setting is now called "Show prayer reminders (Tal/Geshem, Selichot)".
- Kiddush Levana table for the whole year: a "Kiddush Levana" button in the year information window.
Zmanim
- New zmanim: latest time for burning chametz, latest time for Musaf, the start of the tenth hour, and the start and end of Kiddush Levana. A zman that does not apply on the day (such as candle lighting on a weekday) is not shown.
- Candle lighting for Yom Tov on Motzaei Shabbat: shows "after Shabbat ends" (and on the second day of Yom Tov - "after Yom Tov ends").
- Zmanim export: a new window - any saved location, a month, a year or a date range, which zmanim to include, and a page for printing or a file for Excel.
Events and export
- Importing and exporting events: in the events window - export events to a file, and import events from another user or from a backup. Before importing you get a review: identical events are skipped, and an event similar to an existing one is shown next to it so you can skip, add or replace. "Undo last import" restores the previous state.
- A friendlier events window: a wide description shown in full, a right-click menu (edit, delete, show in calendar), alphabetical sorting, Ctrl+F to search, and the window size is remembered.
- Calendar export: a new window - monthly or yearly, for any month and year, Hebrew or civil, and which events to include (also when exporting to a calendar file).
General
- Data in the Documents folder: events, locations, settings and ChaiTables are kept in Documents\רב לוח - included in your backup and kept when Windows is reinstalled. Existing data is copied there automatically.
- Safe saving: a failure in the middle of saving never leaves a damaged file.
- A more compact Settings window: a tooltip on "Open data folder" explains what the folder holds and where it is.
- A more compact main window, and when RavLuach comes back from the background (the icon by the clock, or a reminder), the calendar opens on today.
- More keyboard shortcuts in the menus.
- Fixes in calendar calculations and in the main window display.
Download and install
Download RavLuach-Setup.exe (under Assets below) and install it over the existing version - your events, locations and settings are kept (and copied to the Documents folder). First-time install: see the instructions in version 2.0.0.
Requirements: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime. On a computer without .NET 8, download RavLuach-Setup-Full.exe instead - a larger file (about 50 MB) that includes .NET 8 and needs nothing else installed.

מה חדש
- תזכורות לזמני היום: בכפתור "תזכורת" בחלון הזמנים - כמה דקות לפני הזמן או אחריו (למשל 20 דקות לפני הדלקת נרות, או 10 דקות אחרי צאת הכוכבים). אפשר לקבוע כמה תזכורות לאותו זמן לצרכים שונים, כל אחת עם טקסט משלה ("להדליק את הפלטה") וצליל משלה. לחיצה על הפעמון שליד התזכורת משביתה אותה זמנית (היא נשמרת), ולחיצה נוספת מפעילה אותה שוב. ליד זמן שיש לו תזכורת מוצג פעמון. כשזמן מסומן, "תזכורת" פותח את התזכורת שלו, או יוצר לו תזכורת חדשה. השינויים נשמרים ב"אישור" ומתבטלים ב"ביטול". עד האישור, תזכורת חדשה או שנערכה מודגשת ברשימה, וליד "אישור" מוצג כמה תזכורות חדשות, נערכו או נמחקו. הזמנים מחושבים למיקום הנבחר בחלון הזמנים.
- תזכורות לארועים: בבוקר הארוע, ו/או מספר ימים לפניו, בשעה שבוחרים. תזכורת שהוחמצה (המחשב היה כבוי) מוצגת כשרב לוח נפתח באותו יום. ביצוא הארועים ליומן התזכורות נכללות בקובץ.
- אופן ההתראה: חלון תזכורת שנשאר על המסך עד שסוגרים אותו, עם "הזכר שוב" ובחירת צליל (ברירת מחדל: שעון מעורר) - או הודעת Windows רגילה.
- פעולה ברקע: כשיש תזכורות, סגירת החלון משאירה את רב לוח פועל ברקע עם סמל באזור ההודעות, ואפשר להפעיל אותו עם Windows. הפעולה ברקע חסכונית מאוד במשאבים. הסרת רב לוח מבטלת גם את ההפעלה עם Windows.
- יצוא לוח: בחירת צבע לטבלה (מסגרות, כותרות ושבת וימים בגוונים של אותו צבע), עם תבנית שורות או משבצות; עריכה, הסתרה ושחזור של טקסט הארועים בלוח המיוצא.
- הפעלה נוספת של רב לוח (למשל מקיצור הדרך) מציגה את החלון הפתוח, במקום לפתוח עותק נוסף.
- חלון הזמנים: חיצים למעבר ליום הקודם/הבא. בחלון קביעות השנה, המולדות והתקופות - רוחב העמודות לפי התוכן.

What's new
- Halachic time reminders: with the "Reminder" button in the zmanim window - a number of minutes before or after a time (e.g. 20 minutes before candle lighting, or 10 minutes after nightfall). A time can have several reminders for different purposes, each with its own text ("turn on the hot plate") and its own sound. Clicking the bell next to a reminder disables it temporarily (it is kept); clicking again turns it back on. Times with a reminder are marked with a bell. With a time selected, "Reminder" opens its reminder, or creates a new one for it. Changes are saved with "OK" and discarded with "Cancel". Until then, new and edited reminders are shown in bold, and next to "OK" you see how many are new, edited or deleted. The times are calculated for the location selected in the zmanim window.
- Event reminders: on the morning of the event and/or a number of days before it, at a time of your choice. A missed reminder (the computer was off) is shown when RavLuach opens later that day. Reminders are included when exporting events to a calendar file.
- Notification style: a reminder window that stays on screen until closed, with "remind me again" and a choice of sound (default: alarm clock) - or a regular Windows notification.
- Background operation: when reminders are set, closing the window keeps RavLuach running in the background with a notification-area icon, and it can start with Windows. Running in the background uses very few resources. Uninstalling RavLuach also turns off starting with Windows.
- Calendar export: a table colour (borders, headers and Shabbat, and days in shades of one colour), with a rows or checkerboard pattern; edit, hide and restore the text of events in the exported calendar.
- Starting RavLuach again (e.g. from the shortcut) shows the open window instead of starting another copy.
- Zmanim window: arrows to move to the previous/next day. In the year, molad and tekufot window, column widths fit their contents.

RavLuach 2.0.0 (English)
A complete rewrite of RavLuach - a Hebrew/Gregorian calendar for Windows with Jewish holidays, halachic times, birthdays and yahrzeits, and printable calendars. Free for personal use. (The user interface is in Hebrew.)
Download and install
- Download RavLuach-Setup.exe (under Assets below) and run it.
- If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway (a normal warning for software that is not digitally signed).
- Requires Microsoft .NET 8 Desktop Runtime. If it is missing, the installer offers a link to download it - install it and run the setup again.
Requirements: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Upgrading from 1.x? Your events from the previous version are imported automatically on first run.
What's new
- Halachic times: new calculation based on an up-to-date KosherJava Zmanim library, an extended list of times with a choice of which to show, visible sunrise and sunset based on the ChaiTables ("Luchos Chai"), and export of the month's times to a printable page or to Excel.
- Locations: search by address, with elevation and time zone filled in automatically.
- Events: management window with search, filter and sort, next occurrence and years count. 30 Cheshvan/Kislev and Adar are handled according to halacha, with a selectable Adar custom for yahrzeits.
- Calendar export: to a printable page instead of Word - monthly, all months of the year, or a yearly table; font, size and orientation; text, color and pictures on any day; print or save as PDF.
- Calendar apps: "Add to calendar", and export of your events to a calendar file (Google, Outlook, phone) - each event on the correct Gregorian date every year.
- More per day: Daf Yomi, Sefiras HaOmer, and reminders for Mashiv HaRuach and the rain prayer; Tekufos according to Shmuel and Rav Ada.
- Settings: Israel / diaspora, Israeli national holidays, and changing the date at nightfall.
- Look: dark mode and support for high-DPI displays.
