Calendrical version 1.1.0
[1.1.0] — 2026-08-05
Added
Calendrical.Reformbuilds per-territory Julian-to-Gregorian reform calendars from thencal(1)reform-date table, viacalendar_for/1(accepting a territory code or aLocalize.LanguageTag) withreforms/0returning the full table. It prefers curated composites where they matter:Calendrical.Reform.Swedenmodels Sweden's 1700–1753 transition including the unique 30 February 1712, andCalendrical.Reform.Japanmodels the lunisolar-to-Gregorian change of 1873.
Fixed
-
Calendrical.Julian.parse_date/1and the naive/UTC datetime parsers validated dates with Gregorian leap rules viaCalendar.ISO, wrongly rejecting Julian-valid dates such as 29 February 1700; they now validate against the Julian calendar. -
Composite calendars derived
days_in_month/2from the final segment's calendar for months wholly inside an intermediate segment, returning the wrong length (e.g. February 1712 in the Swedish transitional era); the month is now answered by the calendar actually in effect.
