DocSanitizer (ALDS) — desktop utility designed for deep metadata stripping, revision history cleaning, and anti-leak document sanitization.

Note on Antivirus Detections:
Standalone Windows executables built with packaging tools may trigger 2-3 false positive detections on some antivirus engines.

Features

  • Deep Metadata Removal: Clears author names, company info, creation/modification dates, and hidden system paths.
  • OOXML Cleaning: Strips comments, revision history, and personal references from DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files.
  • PDF Sanitization: Removes /Info dicts, XMP streams, and optional deep flattening (strips JavaScript, AcroForms, and annotations).
  • Hash Randomization: Changes cryptographic hashes (MD5, SHA-256) without corrupting file validity.
  • Non-Destructive Workflow: Saves sanitized documents separately to prevent accidental data loss.
  • Multi-threaded GUI: Modern PyQt6 dark interface with drag-and-drop support.
