Vue Tailwind Datepicker is now published as @coderocketapp/vue-tailwind-datepicker, from the CodeRocket npm account. The project and GitHub repository remain the same.

Migrate from the previous package

The unscoped vue-tailwind-datepicker package is a separate package. Existing installations will not migrate automatically, and running npm update on the old name will not install this release.

npm uninstall vue-tailwind-datepicker
npm install @coderocketapp/vue-tailwind-datepicker dayjs

Update your imports and load the stylesheet once:

import VueTailwindDatepicker from "@coderocketapp/vue-tailwind-datepicker";
import "@coderocketapp/vue-tailwind-datepicker/style.css";

Vue 3 is required. This release includes compiled Tailwind CSS 4 styles; consumers do not need a Tailwind configuration to display the picker. For custom themes from older versions, follow the CSS-variable theming guide.

Maintenance fixes

  • Include and verify ESM/CommonJS entry points, TypeScript declarations, CSS and translation chunks in the published package.
  • Accept empty arrays and arrays of supported date values in the model types.
  • Make explicit light mode override dark ancestors and preserve the dark calendar arrow styles.
  • Await translations and selected values during server rendering.
  • Restore automated package checks and documentation deployment.

Validated with type checks, server rendering, an isolated installation and browser checks of single dates and manually confirmed ranges.
