LazyQoder v1.3.5
LazyQoder v1.3.5 - runtime verification and platform clarity
A maintenance release across the six LazySeries siblings. It carries forward
the workflow and run-integrity foundation from 1.3.0 through 1.3.4.
Eval-driven fixes
- Runtime-floor checks execute named package, installation and lifecycle tests.
Missing or unknown exercises and failed subprocesses cannot report PASS. - Optional TypeScript LSP installation is tested separately with engine-strict
dependency installation and the installed server executable. - Hook payloads are bounded before parsing and kept out of process arguments.
Invalid or oversized events preserve each adapter's exit and state contract. - Current product names, configuration scopes and native extension capabilities
are distinguished from legacy routes and unverified live integration.
Measured efficiency
Hook boundary repairs avoid payload-sized process arguments and bound input
memory. The first host-independent verification unit is vendored identically
in sibling packages, with product-specific exercises in small adapters.
No latency, token, cost or native-host performance improvement is claimed.
Persistent LSP sessions and event-ledger compaction remain future measured work.
Host capability matrix
Current Qoder CLI documentation uses qoder plugins and .qoder-plugin; older qodercli marketplace commands are a separate compatibility route. IDE and app acceptance remain independent.
See the dated platform audit.
HOST READINESS: PENDING until the selected current client demonstrates
discovery, skill/command execution, relevant hooks and MCP connections.
Official feature documentation and package tests are separate evidence.
Dependencies and runtime requirements
Node.js 24 is recommended. Core lifecycle compatibility remains Node.js 20;
LazyTrae's standalone CLI also retains its separate Node.js 18 compatibility
tier. Optional TypeScript language-server 6.x requires Node.js 22.22.2 or later;
5.x providers retain their own Node.js 20 requirement.
Python language-server providers are aligned at basedpyright 1.40.1.
LazyTrae uses fast-uri 4.2.1 directly and the patched 3.1.8 Ajv edge, with
security and normalization regressions preserved.
Migration and upgrade
Use the receipt-aware lifecycle update with an explicit project binding.
Preserve populated run state, modified assets, unknown files and host settings.
Select the exact client and version before following a native installation route.
Kimi Code clients can share configuration; Kimi Work is a separate target.
Read AGENTS.md, README.md and the selected host guide.
Use a newly versioned archive; existing 1.3.4 tags and assets remain intact.
Known risks
Authenticated current-client acceptance remains pending. A copied configuration,
manifest validation, or isolated lifecycle fixture cannot establish host loading.
Optional providers must satisfy their own runtime floor.
Native features added upstream are not automatically wired into the adapter.
Rollback
Retain the previous release and receipts. Follow the scoped lifecycle removal
or rollback plan, preserving user-modified and foreign assets. Host-managed
registrations require their selected client's removal flow; never remove
credentials, sessions or entire shared configuration directories.
LazyQoder v1.3.4
LazyQoder v1.3.4 — safer runs, clearer host boundaries
A small maintenance release for the LazySeries family. It repairs runtime and
host-adapter boundaries while retaining the workflow foundation inherited from
family versions v1.3.0–v1.3.3. Those inherited features are not new in this patch
and do not imply prior public releases of the Kimi or DeepSeek ports.
Eval-driven fixes
- Task claims and iteration updates share one transaction; blocked or exhausted queues cannot report completion.
- Repeated run creation preserves history, and stale snapshot commits cannot overwrite intervening plan edits.
- MCP tools return standard content envelopes and reject malformed arguments without terminating the server.
- Finalization requires all intended tasks done; persisted status is assessed
separately from completion evidence.
Cumulative workflow experience
Describe work in natural language or use explicit workflow entry points.
Keep editable Markdown plans, durable decisions, evidence-bound completion
and verification sized to the change. Planning-only requests remain separate
from execution authority. The README presents these inherited features together
with the 1.3.4 fixes; the repository release history retains the version-by-version record.
Measured efficiency
No new latency, token-saving, cost or recall improvement is measured for this
patch. Ledger append/compaction, learned routing and shared-core migration are deferred.
Host capability matrix
Fresh native host activation and complete onboarding/offboarding acceptance remain pending. Package tests and release publication do not establish those host observations.
Package and distribution checks do not prove a current native host session.
HOST READINESS: PENDING until loading, command/skill behavior and the expected
MCP connections are observed. The README links the selected host's setup guide.
Migration and upgrade
Use the receipt-aware upgrade route with an explicit project binding. Preserve project evidence and unknown host configuration. No credentials or production host settings are changed by package verification.
Read AGENTS.md and the install guide.
Choose one route, check the installed package version, and restart the host.
Source checkouts and release archives have different build requirements; follow
the documented route. Do not reset populated runs merely to upgrade.
Known risks
Native acceptance is separate from package readiness. Token/cost budgets are
metadata; pending approvals are persisted observations without a live approval
queue. Shell loop policy beyond the configured global cap needs orchestrator enforcement.
Rollback
Retain the published v1.3.3 tag and ownership receipts. Remove only receipt-owned, unmodified assets and use a fresh host session to verify removal.
Documentation and family presentation
Aligned sibling README structure, current setup navigation and a shared six-repo
family table. Personal environment files and caches are ignored while example
configuration and pinned fixtures remain publishable. Earlier release notes
remain in the repository release history.
Documentation follow-ups are available on main; the published v1.3.4
archive retains its original verified tag source.
Post-publication repository maintenance
The current main-branch dependency lock uses patched fast-uri 3.1.8.
This addresses host canonicalization.
Existing published v1.3.4 archives retain their original tagged dependency
contents. Use the current source lock for this fix; a refreshed archive needs
a subsequent versioned release.
LazyQoder v1.3.3
LazyQoder v1.3.3 — reliability and release consistency
Status: v1.3.3 release. Package, lifecycle, and publication checks passed locally and in PR CI. Fresh Qoder activation remains pending.
Eval-driven fixes
- Restricted-role hooks reject conflicting identities, malformed or oversized mutating input, and unrestricted shell dispatch.
- Deferred optional MCP servers retain a valid protocol endpoint. Canonical agent definitions now synchronize to required mirrors, with count and drift checks.
Measured efficiency
No token, latency, or cost improvement has been measured for this patch.
Host capability matrix
Package checks exercise Qoder IDE and CLI routes. Fresh host activation and MCP behavior still require observation on a recorded build and session.
Migration and upgrade
Update from v1.3.2 through the normal host route. Preserve caller state and verify installed package identity.
Known risks
Role enforcement depends on trusted host identity and an explicitly restricted run. Package checks do not establish host sandboxing or live connection health.
Rollback
Use lifecycle rollback to the prior verified v1.3.2 release while preserving run evidence and caller state.
Prior release notes
LazyQoder v1.3.2 — durable verification handoff
Status: v1.3.2 release. Source, publication, and main-branch CI checks passed. Fresh Qoder activation remains pending; package verification alone does not establish host readiness.
Eval-driven fixes
- The verifier contract writes a run-scoped, revision-bound report as checks finish; the orchestrator contract blocks a verdict when that report is missing, incomplete, or stale. Generic completion APIs do not yet enforce this report format.
- The orchestrator contract requires focused checks between stages, one full matrix at closure, a compact run digest, and completion events instead of active polling. It forbids duplicate dispatch while owned paths or evidence are changing.
- Where the host supplies agent identity, the PreToolUse hook denies an orchestrator Write/Edit outside its own state directory. Host payloads without identity still require the agent contract to enforce this boundary.
Measured efficiency
The B3 postmortem identifies repeated whole-suite verification and polling as major token sinks. v1.3.2 has no measured token, latency, or cost reduction yet.
Release verification and version history
PR #13 introduced the B3 runtime changes. The then-current publication workflow verified core behavior, lifecycle behavior, and the release archive before attaching the asset. An earlier v1.3.2 publication at 3035cc7 contained only the CI and documentation correction; its archive SHA-256 was 8e15c0e09b6fbccfc3db6ce4ee52ee50ab098e279ae9f924678c3c19103062eb. This corrected v1.3.2 supersedes that mistaken package and includes the B3 runtime changes. Existing v1.3.2 installations may not see a version-based update: reinstall the corrected release and confirm Qoder Skills, commands, agents, hooks, and MCP connections in a fresh session before claiming live readiness.
The short-lived v1.3.3 publication pointed to d6e6a49; its archive SHA-256 was e4cceab598b50a8f88d30e79db03e7dc9308d153e1249683e6570a96c7de12d3. It is being withdrawn as part of this version correction. These commit and digest records preserve the provenance of both superseded artifacts.
Host capability matrix
| Host | Package route | Current session |
|---|---|---|
| Qoder CLI, Qoder IDE, Qoder app | Existing documented routes | Pending live observation |
Migration and upgrade
Upgrade from the last independently verified installed package using the documented lifecycle after inventorying managed and modified assets. Preserve caller files and existing run evidence. The report contract applies to new verification attempts; old conversational verdicts do not become durable evidence.
Known risks
The role-aware hook depends on host-provided agent identity and does not classify arbitrary Bash writes. Quota termination can still leave an in-progress report; it must remain blocked until independently resumed or rerun.
Rollback
Use the lifecycle rollback to the prior verified release. Keep v1.3.2 run evidence for diagnosis and do not mark in-progress reports complete.
Prior release notes (v1.3.1)
The mistaken first v1.3.2 publication is recorded above for provenance. Its tag and release were replaced at the user's request; the corrected archive has different bytes.
LazyQoder v1.3.1
Scope: v1.3.1 package release notes. The corrected package requires repository and release-package verification; Qoder activation in a fresh host session still needs live testing.
Eval-driven fixes
- Safer execution: Workflow intent ignores quoted or historical command mentions while retaining explicit requests to start work. Isolation reports namespace allocation accurately; it does not claim to have created a Git worktree. Cleanup preserves populated allocations, linked files, and caller-owned changes.
- Better evidence: Outcome comparisons hash the supplied task, budget, and permission snapshots and reject mismatched cohorts. Reports distinguish absent, partial, and validated evidence, count explicit host-billed costs from failed runs, and reject fixture telemetry as execution data. Hashes verify supplied bytes, not the truth of their contents.
- Predictable delegation: Subagents keep the current session model by default. A plan may propose
efficientorperformancefor named tasks, but switching requires an explicit plan decision and--allow-switch. The selector is advisory and does not change host settings or imply that a model is available on the account. - Package and tooling fixes: Installed-package and release-root validation now distinguish their routes, check pinned inventory integrity, and reject an invalid explicit release root. Agent metadata accepts optional model aliases and memory scopes; CLI discovery includes
qodercli. Dependency search handles extension-bearing imports with fewer search processes, and verification avoids repeating the full suite for Python preflight. No end-to-end speed or cost gain has been measured. - Current guidance: README, contributor, lifecycle, and verification documentation reflect v1.3.1. Obsolete attribution and initial-port files were removed; credits and licenses remain in NOTICE and LICENSE.
- CI harness correction: The MCP grep-fallback regression harness retains the Python interpreter selected by CI
setup-python, with its existing 1.5-second response bound and grep fallback. This fixes interpreter selection only; runtime MCP behavior is unchanged.
Measured efficiency
No measured productivity, latency, or native-cost improvement is claimed. The CI correction makes the regression check use the configured Python interpreter; it does not claim a product efficiency gain. The corrected source must pass its own repository and release-package verification before publication.
Host capability matrix
| Host | Release route | Live status |
|---|---|---|
| Qoder CLI | Release-root marketplace | Pending fresh-session test |
| Qoder IDE | CLI-backed marketplace when available | Pending fresh-session test |
| Qoder app | Full-plugin marketplace | Pending fresh-session test |
Migration and upgrade
Before upgrading, record the installed version and lifecycle ownership, then validate the exact v1.3.1 archive. Keep host readiness pending until the selected route is observed in a fresh Qoder session.
Known risks
Repository and CI checks do not establish that a release archive loads in a host. Installation, activation, MCP, specialist, cancellation, and completed-task behavior remain unobserved in fresh Qoder sessions. Evidence hashes bind supplied bytes but do not establish their independent truth.
Rollback
Stop the host session and use the lifecycle offboard/rollback route for the previous release. Remove only unmodified receipt-owned assets; preserve modified, unknown, linked, caller-owned, and host-managed files. Start a fresh session to verify the restored installation.

LazyQoder v1.3.0
Highlights
LazyQoder v1.3.0 adds adaptive execution, progressive plans, durable decision memory, and efficient verification across Qoder CLI, Qoder IDE, and the human-facing qoder-app route.
- Automatic or explicit activation: describe implementation work normally, or use
/lazy-ulw-plan <idea>followed by/lazy-start-work <plan>. - Progressive planning: complicated ideas become executable milestones with visible assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and scoped gates.
- Human-editable plans: direct Markdown edits are reconciled before dispatch, completion, and resume, while unrelated verified work remains valid.
- Durable decisions and corrections: scoped decisions, supersessions, and verified repairs persist across plans under
.lazyqoder/decisions/. - Efficient verification: the harness uses the lowest sufficient tier, avoids duplicate commands and unnecessary handoffs, and relies on protected CI for the final comprehensive gate.
- Qoder route clarity:
qoder-appis the human-facing name while the existing internal route ID remainsqoder; package presence alone never claims host readiness.
Commands
/lazy-ulw-plan <idea>
/lazy-start-work <plan>
Natural-language implementation requests can activate the same workflow automatically. Plan-only requests, explanations, and quoted commands remain non-executing.
Upgrade notes
Existing project state remains readable. The README now uses the new LazyQoder banner, and the previous SVG banner has been removed.
Verification
The v1.3.0 implementation passed supported-floor, Node 22, Node 24, macOS lifecycle, and deterministic validation checks. The published archive came from the verified workflow artifact; GitHub’s billing state prevented only the automated publish job from starting.
