EyeSort v0.5.1
EyeSort Release Notes
Processing performance and progress feedback
EyeSort processing was refactored to reduce time complexity and speed up runs. Command Window output was trimmed so progress is easier to follow, and a smaller set of clearer messages was added where they help most.
Event code labeling options
Users can choose how events are written into the dataset, including:
- Numeric 6-digit code
- Condition + Label Description
- Condition + Label Description + Fixated Word
- Region Text Content
- Keep Original Events
Labeling bug fix (edge-case codes)
A labeling bug was fixed where some codes could incorrectly become 00 in edge cases.
Inspect parsed regions (Step 2)
After EyeSort finishes Step 2, users can inspect parsed regions: validate parsing, review region boundaries, and export that view when needed. This partly addresses Reviewer 2’s concern that small user errors can compound and skew results; further reviewer suggestions remain to be evaluated.
Import columns from the AI file (Step 3)
As Step 3, users can export columns from the AI text file (.txt) and import them directly into EEG datasets. A drop-down lists all columns available for export.
